With “The Last Team”, Halifax West is not just investing in a docuseries, we’re championing an underdog story that transcends borders and raises global awareness on the climate plight of the Marshall Islands.
 

“The Last Team” is a docuseries that follows manager Lloyd Owers’ extraordinary journey to give the people of the Marshall Islands a voice on the world stage through football / soccer. Inspired by the spirit of Cool Runnings, this series promises to be a real-life underdog tale for the ages.

We’re honored to have soccer legends Cafu and Fabio Capello on board, with other icons like Roberto Carlos, John Terry, Arsene Wenger, and Pablo Zabaleta expressing keen interest. The momentum behind this project is undeniable, and we’re honored to be part of it every step of the way.
 

From securing exclusive rights to developing the storyline, establishing the budget, and crafting the production timeline, working with the talented team at Anna Barbara Films has been a privilege.
